Help us Help Them

**ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTABLE**
There are many ways you can help out Spindletop refuge or any other rescue group. We always need money. We do not turn down animals for any treatable condition. We have treated a dozen dogs for heartworms, had legs amputated, treated countless puppies for Parvo & we provide all animals with the necessary vaccinations & deworming. If you would like to donate $$ you can send it directly our Houston Branch. Either way it will be helping rescued animals.

We also offer a sponsorship program. For $15-30 a month you sponsor an adult or a puppy. We will send you a picture of the dog & keep you updated on  the progress of the animal you are helping to save. Contact  pitrescue@yahoo.com if you are interested in this. We leave the donation amount up to you. Every little bit helps.

You may also make a one time donation  $40 which will pay to have one dog spayed or neutered

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are also needed to help pass out information about our group & to help us take dogs or puppies to adoption days.

Foster homes are our #1 need. In order to be a foster parent to one of our dogs or puppies

If you own a Pit Bull or Staffordshire Terrier you can help us by training your pet & by letting people know what type of dog you own. Many people try to hide the fact that they own a 'Pit Bull'
If your pet is a good k-9 citizen it is great for people to know that he/she is a Pit Bull.
Don't let your pets run free or act agressive in public. It creates a bad image for the breed.
If your dog is not registered, have your dog spayed/neutered. If you do plan to breed you dog please reconsider. There are too many dogs in shelters. Rescue a dog instead of adding to the problem. If you are a breeder please rescue dogs also.

This  guy was still in the Austin shelter as of 7-10-02
We can't save them all.
There are countless others just like him waiting in shelters to be rescued. For many it is too late.
